The CCPIT vice chairman Lu Pengqi attended and addressed China-Russia Border & Northeast Asia Cooperative Development Forum on August 8.
Lu said, countries in Northeast Asia have been seeking for their own growth in recent years while promoting regional cooperation in various ways. He hoped the countries, through the forum and exhibition, to carry out exchange, explore opportunities for cooperation, achieve mutual benefit and win-win, play the advantages of ports and constantly improve the level of cooperation.
The forum was hosted by director general of the Exhibition Department of the CCOIC Guo Yinghui. Heilongjiang Provincial Standing Committee member and deputy governor Li Haitao attended and addressed the forum. Busan Port Authority president Woo Ye-jong, deputy governor of Russia’s Primorye and China Logistics and Purchasing Association vice president Cai Jin made speeches.
The forum, held during the 2016 China (Suifenhe) International Trade Fair , aims to build an platform of information exchange and resource sharing for enterprises from Russia and Northeast Asian countries, and promote China’s cooperation with Russia and Northeast Asia in logistics, traffic, transport, customs, finance etc.
